AFBR-83EDxxZ

       The Avago AFBR-83EDxxZ is a pluggable 10-channel, parallel optics CXP Active Optical Cable (AOC) for multi-channel 10Gbps proprietary interconnect and 100 Gigabit Ethernet (100GbE) applications.

The AFBR-83EDxxZ is designed to operate over multimode fiber systems using a nominal wavelength of 850 nm. The electrical interface uses an 84-contact edge type connector. The AOC incorporates Avago Technologies' proven integrated circuit and VCSEL technology to provide reliable long life, high performance, and consistent service.

AFBR-8420EVK

         The Avago AFBR-8420EVK evaluation kit is designed to provide designers with a convenient means of evaluating Avago 100G CFP2 SR10 module. The evaluation kit supports the Avago AFBR-8420Z, a 10-channel pluggable, multi-mode parallel optic transceiver module for high-density 100G Ethernet and Optical Transport Network (OTN) applications.

          The Avago AFBR-83EVK evaluation kit is designed to provide designers with a convenient means of evaluating the electrical and optical performance of Avago CXP and CXP AOC fiber optic transceiver modules. A downloadable user guide is available upon request, which provides full description of the evaluation kit and graphical user interface (GUI) along with basic operating instructions. The evaluation kit includes the following (excluding the CXP transceiver modules):

SFF-8074

              The SFP extender board was designed to access SFP low speed control signals while a DUT SFP compliant to SFF-8074 is plugged into the target application system such as a network switch and router. TX & RX high speed signals are routed on the board with 50 ohm transmission lines to maintain signal integrity.
